Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an on-site Radiology Systems Administrator to implement and maintain PACS, RIS, and voice systems. The role ensures image integrity and reliable system operation, with on-call coverage as needed.

Responsibilities include configuring access, monitoring image quality, training users, and daily/weekly backups to support the department's mission for safe, high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in radiology, health related field, or computer science.
• 3 years in radiology and/or technology/IT.
• Knowledge of Radiology operations.
• Knowledge of PACS, RIS, Voice Systems, and their functionality.
• Knowledge of Windows operating system, UNIX, and associated tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs care, support, roll out, and maintenance of the radiology systems, including PACS, RIS, and Voice.
• Configures, maintains, and documents user access, user profiles, and system configurations.
• Monitors image quality and calibration.
• Provides instruction and training to users.
• Maintains integrity of images; correct patient ID, MRNs, labeling, etc.
• Performs system back-up on a daily and weekly basis.
