Job summary

St. Luke’s is seeking a System Administrator 3 to join the Imaging Informatics (PACS admin) team. Under minimal supervision, the System Administrator 3 installs and maintains enterprise IT systems and imaging platforms, ensuring integrity, performance, and reliability.

You will design imaging workflows, lead upgrades, and provide advanced troubleshooting while coordinating with clinicians, radiologists, and vendors in a 24x7 on-call environment.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of healthcare imaging operations and clinical workflows.
Experience administering PACS, VNA, radiology viewers, or related imaging tech.
Knowledge of DICOM, HL7, IHE profiles, and healthcare interoperability.

Responsibilities

Administer and optimize enterprise imaging platforms (PACS, VNA, viewers, image exchange).
Design imaging workflows and integrations across radiology, Epic, and clinical systems.
Lead imaging system upgrades, testing, and deployments; provide 24x7 on-call support.
Develop imaging standards, security controls, and disaster recovery plans.
