Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to optimize performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems across our healthcare network. You will manage interfaces with EMR, RIS, PACS, and voice recognition, ensuring seamless image viewing and data exchange.

The role includes project management, vendor coordination, policy development, and adherence to DICOM/HL7 standards, with a focus on quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical imaging systems administration.
• Familiar with DICOM and HL7 standards.
• Knowledge of EMR, RIS, PACS interfaces and data integrity.
• Ability to manage projects and document lifecycle artifacts.
• Strong communication with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal performance and compliance of imaging systems and interfaces.
• Manage interfaces to EMR, RIS, and PACS; monitor data integrity.
• Participate in project lifecycle, budgeting, and vendor relations.
• Provide IT support for imaging workflows and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare documentation and reports for audits and KPIs.
