Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Film Room Digital Imaging Specialist to manage daily image records across the system. You will connect clinicians with radiologists, upload studies to partners, and monitor study progress to ensure timely, accurate care.

The role involves handling Release of Information requests under HIPAA and using EPIC/PACS for data retrieval. Candidates should have at least one year of PACS/EHR experience, English proficiency, and an Associate’s degree or equivalent technical

Qualifications

• Education: working-level English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
• One year PACS and EHR experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree or technical training in related field required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily image records for Renown Health System.
• Connect MDs, RNs, Technologists with Radiologists regarding imaging studies.
• Upload imaging studies to/from ancillary facilities via VPN/LifeImage/Powershare.
• Monitor study progress through PACS to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Handle Release of Information requests per HIPAA guidelines.
• Use EPIC and PACS to locate electronic health information and record releases.
