Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a dedicated Image Management professional to oversee the lifecycle of medical images across PACS and film, ensuring accuracy and timely access for clinicians.

Reporting to the Image Management Supervisor, you will handle subpoenas, coordinate with outside copy services, merge MRNs, and maintain film and RIS/PACS records while supporting daily operations and quality audits.

Qualifications

• Experience with radiology information systems.
• Experience with PACS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
• Highly organized with ability to prioritize workload.
• Experience using hospital computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical images in PACS and hardcopy film.
• Handle subpoenas and coordinate outside copy services.
• Collaborate with Risk Management on file audits.
• Merge duplicate MRNs and manage RIS/PACS workflows.
• Print and burn images to CD; support clinicians accessing images.
• Enter data into RIS and Rad Plus with ICD-9 codes.
