Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a PACS Administrator to manage day-to-day PACS/CPACS operations, ensure reliable image workflow, archiving, and DICOM transmission. You will collaborate with imaging leadership and IS to optimize systems and compliance.

The role requires experience with radiology/cardiology imaging software, strong communication, and the ability to train end users while supporting hospital objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years healthcare experience in an information services department.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills required.
• Familiarity with radiology/cardiology applications and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of PACS/CPACS equipment and image workflow.
• Ensure timely capture and transmission of DICOM data and RIS validation.
• Coordinate with imaging leadership and IS to develop standards and procedures.
• Oversee vendor activities during installation and upgrades.
• Orient and train physicians and staff on imaging systems.
• Attend departmental and hospital meetings and prepare leadership reports.
• Maintain compliance with guidelines (JCAHO, ACR, HIPAA).
• On-call duties rotate with the Senior Imaging Systems Administrator.
