Mount Sinai Medical Center in South Florida seeks a PACS Administrator to maintain the PACS environment and support post-processing tools interfacing with the system. The role requires coordinating maintenance, testing, and implementation across Radiology and IS teams.

You will oversee system operation, monitor interfaces and logs, coordinate changes, collaborate with vendors, and provide project oversight from planning to delivery of PACS projects to ensure data integrity and reliable imaging

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology recommended.
• Minimum 4 years Image archive and/or PACS experience.
• Solid understanding of clinical workflow within one or more clinical service lines and how it relates to Medical Imaging and PACS.
• Excellent attention to detail, project management skills, and applications training skills.
• Experience with Hologic, Montage, TeraRecon, and Nuance PowerScribe360 preferred.
• CIIP or PARCA certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversees the operation of PACS system.
• Verifies that appropriate processes have occurred (scheduled operations, backups, rebuilds, archives, etc.).
• Monitors the system's interfaces to insure they are functioning at all times.
• Develops monitoring techniques and downtime processes to keep the interfaces in synch with other systems within the organization.
• Coordinates all changes so that IS and PACS system/data interfaces remain fully functional at all times.
