Job summary

ThermoSafe in Putnam, CT is seeking a Packaging Associate to pack products quickly, safely, and accurately on a fast-paced production line. Reliable attendance and a can-do attitude are essential.

You will collaborate with production teams, monitor quality, and help maintain 5S practices while supporting safety policies.

This role offers multiple shifts with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for first shift employees and a starting pay of about $20.08 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong sense of urgency with a "get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of manufactured products and quality requirements.
• Reliable, committed, self-motivated, and quality focused.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive duties, including climbing stairs and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Pack products accurately and efficiently to meet production requirements.
• Collaborate closely with production teams and other departments.
• Maintain a high regard for 5S and workplace organization standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and respond effectively to changing situations.
• Monitor and report on the quality of manufactured products.
• Consistently move product and place it in designated pack-out locations throughout the shift.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times.
• Perform all duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
• Support ThermoSafe’s quality and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist other departments as needed to meet operational demands.
• Work overtime as required.
