Job summary

Our Home is seeking a Packing Machine Operator to join the team in Warner Robins, GA. This role ensures efficient operation, controls waste, and maintains quality, safety, and sanitation to meet production goals.

Shifts are Mon-Fri 5:30am–3:30pm with overtime and weekend work as needed. You will set up machines, check codes, adjust seals and bag weights, and coordinate with maintenance to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years related experience and training preferred.
• Ability to make operational changes quickly and accurately.
• Must be available for occasional overtime and Saturday work.
• Willing to perform duties assigned by supervisor or group leader.

Responsibilities

• Check production schedule and determine products to run.
• Retrieve cello/rolls from warehouse and set up machine.
• Set coder/eye to correct position and ensure correct print codes.
• Set up spindle and thread cello through machine per design.
• Install correct former and set drive belts; clean pull belts as needed.
• Program bagging machines and scales; adjust computer setup settings.
• Ensure proper seals, cuts, bag weights, and label locations; fix issues.
• Maintain clean work area and assist packaging team during breaks.
