Trinidad Benham in La Vergne, TN is seeking a Machine Operator to run an automated packing line and prepare products for shipping. You will set up machinery to meet company quality and efficiency standards, monitor output, and document production data.

Primary responsibilities include basic machine adjustments, jam clearance, and routine maintenance. The role requires attention to detail, good math and log-keeping skills, and the ability to learn packing equipment quickly.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate or quickly learn packing equipment.
• Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work logs.

Responsibilities

• Inspects equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Sets up and operates packaging machine according to instructions, specifications, and standards provided by Trinidad Benham.
• Adjusts controls to regulate machine output, clears jams, and performs basic machine troubleshooting.
• Reads daily production schedules and retrieves required packaging materials for production.
• Ensures packing supplies are stocked near the packing machine.
• Meets daily production requirements.
• Performs quality checks to ensure packaging meets customer requirements (end seals, date codes).
• Maintains logs of units produced and downtime; documents errors and waste.
