Summary:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Packer is responsible for processing the highest quality of fresh fish to fulfill customer orders. Additionally, this individual is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up work area
• Arrange packing materials
• Makes boxes
• The Production Supervisor will assign what items are to be packed and in what quantities.
• Process product on designated machines (placing fish on containers, applying stickers, and packing into shipping boxes).
• Place processed product into transport containers, then onto transport carts, and move to the packing station.
• Follow instructions from the Production Supervisor for next assignments and product specifications.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas as instructed (tables, sinks, cutting boards, drains, curtains, floors, scales, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year factory-related experience preferred.

Work Environment:

Work performed in a refrigerated/cold environment. Standing for long hours.
