In late 1980, the company began passivating stainless steel and in 1981 purchased Fastener Sorting Corporation. Today, a recognized leader in the Metal Finishing and Fastener Sorting fields, SWD Inc. has around 250 employees and runs three shifts per day in its 250,000 sq. ft. facility just west of Chicago in Addison, Illinois.

What We're Seeking

We are seeking a Warehouse Packer (Pack/Unpack). This full time position will be Monday-Friday, 1st shift (7am-3pm). This role may occasionally include weekends. The starting pay is $18.00/hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Pack customer jobs at the pack 3 and pack 4 machines
• Hand pack when needed
• Unpack jobs for all departments
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Operate the wrap machine
• Operate the roll sorter
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Practice safe work habits, following outlined policies and procedure
• Operate a Forklift
• Reviewing and comprehending Shop Orders
• Be aware of SWD Inc., company policy and procedures, including the quality system as defined by QS-9000 and ISO-14001 and outlined in the SWD Inc.'s quality and environmental systems policy and procedure manuals.
