A Day In The Life
  • Assembler/Bander will be required to set up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment to produce and/or prepare for shipment a good quality product. Examples include, but are not limited to, nutting, banding, strapping, wrapping, and other departmental equipment.
  • Processes performed will include, but are not limited to, assembling, painting, palletizing, filing, bundling, banding, nutting, sorting, twisting, and deburring.
  • The operator may be required to make visual inspections, separate parts, identify, tag, count, record production and scrap, keep production records, and perform other operations as required.
  • The operator must have the ability to satisfactorily perform SPC as required.
  • The operator will be required to maintain machines, equipment, and the work area in a clean and orderly manner.
What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Ability to stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of eight hours.
  • Ability to walk, see, and have full use of both hands.
  • Ability to perform highly repetitive work with heavy weights and vibrations from the equipment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. from the floor to above the waist and place it on timbers.
  • Ability to hold a stapling machine in one hand, position it, and staple the item.
  • Note that these physical requirements are general and work may occasionally exceed these levels.
