Job summary

Permobil, Inc. in New Berlin, WI is seeking a Packer to finalize orders and ready them for delivery. This full-time role is on the 2nd shift, Monday–Friday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, with overtime as needed.

You will retrieve orders from Assembly, verify parts, seal shipments, follow safety and ISO procedures, and support cross‑functional teams as required. A high school diploma and good communication are preferred to thrive in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the final stages of the production process, ensuring that all orders are correctly packaged and prepared for delivery to the consumer.
• Retrieve orders from Assembly department, packaging for outgoing deliveries to consumer.
• Confirm all parts listed on sales order are present prior to packing.
• Package order using proper packing supplies and tools, i.e. tape guns, box cutters, etc.
• Read special instructions on each order to maintain compliance with shipping standards.
• Send incomplete orders back to matching for re-work.
• Follow and comply with all safety, work regulations, ISO procedures, lean initiatives and lean events.
• Maintain knowledge of the shipping process, cross-training as necessary.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Highlight cross-functional collaboration and ownership.
• Emphasize continuous improvement and efficiency.

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this role is $16.50 - $17.00 per hour. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
