Job summary

Permobil is seeking a Materials Prep associate to stage, move, and prep materials for production and storage, occasionally using powered equipment while following safety standards. You will verify inventory with daily picks and report discrepancies to the inventory team.

Maintain quality by keeping error rates low and meeting performance metrics for quantity, accuracy, and timeliness. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience; basic math

• High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Proficient with RP scanner.

Responsibilities

• Stages, moves, and prepares materials for production and storage areas occasionally using powered industrial equipment while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
• Verifies inventory by performing daily picks accurately and report any discrepancies found immediately to the inventory team.
• Maintains quality service by keeping error rates minimal and within acceptable ranges; maintaining an efficient work pace; meet or exceed all performance measurements: quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by operating all machinery in a safe and efficient manner; reporting any safety hazards to assigned supervisor or safety manager; complying with all safety and quality policies, practices and procedures.
• Contributes to team effort by maintaining a good attendance record and assisting other departments with miscellaneous duties.
• Highlight cross-functional collaboration and ownership.
• Emphasize continuous improvement and efficiency.

Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (Must have the ability to work overtime hours)

What You’ll Bring

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Basic math functions. Proficient with RP scanner.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred and at least 1 year related experience is preferred.

Utility knife; counter scale; measuring devices; calculator; RF scanner; computer; cherry (order) picker lift.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Strong problem-solving mindset.

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this role is $18.00 – $20.00 per hour . Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
