Job summary

Rich Products Corporation, a family-owned food company, is seeking an Operator - Bagger/Scales for Shift 1 in Brunswick, GA. You will operate bagging lines, set up equipment, prepare bag materials, calibrate scales, and support packaging with quality-focused tasks on the production floor.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a demonstrated commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Punctual and reliable in attendance.
• Adhere to safety and quality policies and practices.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up all equipment so that it will run properly.
• Assist maintenance with preventive maintenance and report problems.
• Know the product specifications and run the line accordingly.
• Prepare baggers to run correct rollstock.
• Make sure correct materials are brought to the line.
• Unstack and position rollstock for threading and sealing.
• Ensure scales are prepared and calibrated correctly.
• Assist in set-up and operation of other packaging equipment as needed.
• Set scales for correct bag weights.
• Monitor bagger weights and seals and notify leaders of issues.
• Sweep debris and dispose of waste properly.
• Operate trash carts and dispose of waste materials.
• Wash floors with water hose and push water toward drains.
• Use rubber squeegee to push water toward drains.
• Prepare all paperwork for quality and production records.
