Job summary

Rich Products Corporation in Brunswick, Georgia seeks a Machine Operator II to set up and changeover equipment to meet production needs while following all food safety and quality guidelines. You will perform routine machine adjustments, operate equipment on all shifts, and conduct basic troubleshooting to keep lines running smoothly.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and a high school diploma or GED, with a team-oriented, detail-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of FIFO.
• Must be able to follow instructions in a formula.
• Must be a self-starter who can work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to get along with others in a team environment.
• Must be detail oriented and adhere to GMP policies.
• Must be flexible in work and shift hours.
• Computer knowledge and forklift certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, change over, adjust, repair and operate all machinery/equipment, on all shifts.
• Ensure all equipment is in operating condition and ready for on time startup.
• Must have the knowledge and experience to make necessary adjustments to keep products flowing consistently.
• Performs process control and quality checks.
• Maintains work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMP and safety guidelines.
• Trains new associates.
• Performs any other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Completes daily production reports/documents accurately and timely.
