Job summary

Klondike Cheese Co. is seeking packaging associates for 1st and 2nd shifts in Monroe, WI. You will operate packaging machinery, monitor lines, and perform quality checks to maintain product standards while assisting with inventory and loading materials.

The roles offer hourly pay with 1st shift at $19.00 and 2nd shift at $21.00, along with benefits and a team-focused culture. Overtime may be required to meet production needs. Klondike Cheese Co.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating packaging machinery in a manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
• Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime or extended shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the operation of machinery and equipment used in the cheese or yogurt manufacturing processes.
• Loads packaging and food products into manufacturing equipment, onto racks or into totes.
• Operates packaging machinery as required.
• Observes and monitors packaging lines to ensure the smooth flow of operations.
• Conducts regular quality checks and completes quality documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Examines and inspects containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Sorts, weighs, and inspects products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.
• Verifies and records product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Verifies accuracy and correctness of product identification labels; attaches labels.
• Removes finished packaged items from machine and separates rejected items.
• Assists in managing inventory levels of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products to keep packaging lines running smoothly.
