Job summary

Woodstock Sterile Solutions is seeking a Packaging Team Lead to supervise packaging and inspection of pharmaceutical products at our Woodstock, Illinois facility. You will lead Production Associates, ensure SOP adherence, and maintain cGMP standards while coordinating line setup and throughput.

Responsibilities include training staff, managing daily staffing, and ensuring accurate documentation and problem solving in a fast-paced sterile manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
• Packaging operation experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and adherence to GDP/cGMP.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Production Associates on packaging, labeling, and SOP adherence.
• Train and mentor staff; manage daily line staffing and coverage.
• Coordinate line start-ups, shutdowns, and lot clearances with GMP compliance.
• Attend daily pass-downs and shift meetings; ensure timely task completion.
• Monitor quality, document GMP activities, and manage rework when needed.
• Identify risks to product quality and escalate issues to leadership.
