Job summary

Jost Chemical Co. is seeking a Packaging Crew Leader to join our GMP-regulated packaging team in Saint Louis, MO. The role oversees the daily operation of a Packaging Operator team, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time ship dates, with occasional substitution for the Packaging Manager.

You will lead, train, and develop a team, coordinate resources, and maintain compliance while supporting continuous improvements to packaging yields and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Lead experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, the team, and other areas such as Quality and Safety.
• Demonstrated operational and technical troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment, packaging rooms, and the assigned team to achieve ship dates.
• Ensure GMP cleanliness and proper handling of exposed product.
• Oversee packaging quality, labeling, batch records, and in-process testing.
• Monitor safety, quality, attendance, and counseling of the team.
• Assist in hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Lead and supervise shift employees to maintain production efficiency.
