Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Packer for a pharma manufacturing environment in Illinois. You will be packaging products per SOPs, performing quality checks, and supporting line operations across 1st, 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts.

This role requires adherence to cGMP practices, accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks in a fast-paced setting. Overtime and weekend work may be required. Training and safety protocols are emphasized throughout the shift rotations.

Qualifications

• TABE testing requirements met at approved grade level for position.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand simple prose and follow written/oral instructions.
• Ability to apply common sense to routine tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
• Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt to changing work environments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Package products according to SOPs and batch specifications for shipping.
• Ensure product quality by inspecting codes, seals and quantity.
• Remove defective products for rework or disposal.
• Escalate quality issues and pause line as needed.
• Rotate through packing functions and maintain performance.
• Complete cleaning and 5S housekeeping around the line.
