Job summary

Riviana Foods Inc. in Memphis, TN seeks a Packaging Supervisor to lead hourly personnel on one or more packaging lines, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. You will coordinate with Plant Scheduler, Packaging and Warehouse teams to meet schedules and maintain daily shift records.

The role requires at least 2 years of supervisory manufacturing experience, familiarity with GMP and SQF/GFSI standards, and strong communication and problem-solving skills on fast-paced production floors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP/SQF/GFSI standards is a plus.
• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly personnel across one or more packaging lines.
• Coordinate with Plant Scheduler, Packaging and Warehouse Supervisors, and Managers regarding line status.
• Maintain daily shift logs and assign cost center placements in time/attendance systems.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP and sanitation procedures are followed in assigned areas.
• Monitor product quality with QC personnel and report deviations.
• Submit daily packaging reports to the Packaging Superintendent.
