Job summary

The ASR Group is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to lead the packaging department in Chicago, IL, ensuring GMP compliance and delivering quality products. You will manage resources, drive safety, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, coaching hourly staff, and advancing CI initiatives while maintaining food safety and regulatory standards. Position requires 3+ years of leadership in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, food science or related field.
• 3+ years leadership experience in manufacturing or food processing.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work to meet product specs and delivery needs.
• Drive improvements in methods, equipment, safety and quality.
• Train and develop hourly staff; provide feedback and coaching.
• Oversee paperwork, reports, and documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement using CI and Lean-Six Sigma principles.
