Job summary

Upstate Niagara Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Packaging Department on the 2nd or 3rd shift. The role requires weekend and holiday availability and reports to the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities include coordinating material flow, labor planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safe, efficient production. The position offers a competitive salary range ($75k–$85k) and emphasizes food safety, GMP compliance, and strong teamwork within a dairy

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience in packaging/processing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of the Packaging Department including continuous improvement initiatives and PM planning.
• Coordinate movement of raw materials and finished product; plan and set up weekend coverage.
• Prepare weekly schedules and job assignments; monitor manpower and shift readiness.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company guidelines; participate in safety meetings and audits.
