Job summary

Cella by Randstad Digital in Framingham, MA is seeking a detail-driven Packaging Specialist for an immediate contract assignment covering a leave of absence. You will develop packaging for Halloween and Harvest programs, including boxes, hangtags, and specialty labels.

Work closely with the Senior Packaging Specialist, handle die-lines and box construction, review artwork, and coordinate with Product Development, Buyers, and vendors to ensure on-time, press-ready results.

Qualifications

• BFA or Bachelor's in Graphic/Packaging Design or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years hands-on packaging design experience in retail/consumer goods.
• Strong knowledge of boxed packaging, die-lines, and mechanical layout.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging adhering to brand guidelines and production standards.
• Create die-lines and ensure packaging is production-ready.
• Oversee packaging from concept to press-ready release.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Buyers, and vendors to coordinate approvals.
• Build physical mockups and packaging prototypes for reviews and sign-offs.
• Coordinate packaging photography and asset kits for stakeholders.

Location: Framingham, MassachusettsJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $40 - 43 per hourWe are seeking a detail-driven, creative Packaging Specialist to join our Seasonal Lighting creative team for an immediate contract assignment covering a leave of absence. In this role, you will focus on packaging development for our upcoming Halloween and Harvest programs-delivering trend-forward packaging solutions spanning boxed items, hangtags, and specialty retail labels.While this assignment is initially planned for 30 to 60 days, our team is continuously sourcing top creative talent. For a strong performer who fits the team dynamic, there is a strong likelihood of exploring longer-term contract opportunities across our wider creative divisions.Responsibilities:Packaging Design & Technical Execution: Partner with the Senior Packaging Specialist to design and develop compelling brand packaging (boxes, hangtags, labels) adhering strictly to brand style guidelines and production standards.Die-Line & Box Construction: Work hands-on with technical boxed packaging, ensuring die-lines, folds, callouts, and structural components are production-ready.Concept to Shelf Delivery: Oversee packaging deliverables from initial concept through press-ready mechanical releases.
