Job summary

Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking a packaging designer for a beauty/skincare brand in Summit, NJ. This hybrid, contract role through end of 2026 requires strong branding and production skills to guide regional adaptations while preserving core brand equities.

The candidate will lead color/print feasibility, ensure regulatory and multilingual compliance, and embed sustainability-by-design with Global Packaging teams, collaborating with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FMCG/CPG packaging design experience (in‑house or agency).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design‑to‑print excellence across substrates and processes.
• Proven ability to translate brand strategy into production‑ready design intents.
• Expertise in color management, prepress, and proof/print checks.
• Familiarity with sustainability principles and application to packaging.

Responsibilities

• Develop packaging design intents, shopper toolkits, and master assets.
• Guide regional adaptation while preserving core brand equities.
• Ensure packaging meets regulatory, claims, and multilingual requirements.
• Embed sustainability‑by design principles in partnership with Global Packaging teams.
• Track and integrate trends into packaging development and shopper assets.
• Lead color/print feasibility and support remote or on‑site press approvals.
• Collaborate with regional teams to address local regulations and supply constraints.
