Job summary

International Paper in Aurora, IL is seeking a Sales Representative to manage a retail packaging sales territory, build strong customer relationships, and deliver profitable sales through regular in-person visits. You will assess customers' needs, present value-driven packaging solutions, and help develop key account plans with regional leadership, while travel to client sites 50%+ of the time.

This salaried role offers base pay plus a performance-based incentive plan, with potential total

Qualifications

BA/BS in a related field or related equivalent work experience.
Experience in the corrugated box industry required.
Valid driver's license required.
2+ years of sales experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Represent IP's Packaging Solutions North America in the retail packaging marketplace.
Develop and foster sound customer relationships to manage a sales territory.
Generate profitable sales through regular in-person interactions with customers.
Assess customers' packaging needs and offer FULFILLING recommendations.
Grow business with priority accounts by developing and implementing Key Account Plans.
Travel to multiple customer sites/meetings weekly (50%+).
May act as account team leader.
