International Paper is seeking a Sales Representative to manage a territory in Packaging Solutions North America. The role focuses on building customer relationships and driving profitable sales through regular in-person interactions.

Responsibilities include assessing customer needs, proposing IP packaging solutions, and growing key accounts with strategic plans. Travel to client sites is expected 50% or more weekly across the Indianapolis region.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field or related equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Experience in the corrugated box industry is a plus.
• Action oriented.

Responsibilities

• Represent International Paper’s Packaging Solutions North America (PSNA) business in the packaging marketplace and manage a sales territory by developing customer relationships.
• Generate profitable sales through regular in-person interactions with prospective and existing customers.
• Assess customer packaging needs and offer IP solutions to meet management directives.
• Grow key accounts by developing and implementing account plans.
• Enable decision-making with knowledge of business principles and internal IP resources.
• Identify value propositions with priority customers and IP capabilities.
• Monitor market conditions and opportunities for IP innovations.
• Travel to multiple customer sites/meetings weekly and work in various environments (50%+).
• May act as account team leader.
