Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth in our corrugated packaging solutions in the assigned territory. You will expand relationships, secure new business, and shape proposals to meet customer needs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years in packaging sales, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to negotiate, prioritize, and manage time under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in corrugated packaging or packaging solutions & distribution.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated, manage time well, and support team success.
• Ability to negotiate sales agreements with independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Achieves sales goals and executes sales plans within an assigned territory with new or existing business.
• Secures and maintains distribution of products, providing pricing, negotiating, and maintaining agreements.
• Creates and monitors lead generation plans to build a strong sales pipeline.
• Coordinates with design to improve existing designs and develop new ones for customers.
• Manages accounts including recordkeeping, forecasts, budgets and credit collections where applicable.
