Job summary

ASR Group in Baltimore, MD seeks a Packaging Maintenance Team Manager to enhance reliability and efficiency in the Packaging within the Baltimore Refinery Department. You will oversee Supervisors, coordinate with Packaging Engineers and other staff, and drive capital projects to cut operating costs.

The role emphasizes leading a team, improving maintenance methods, and delivering results in safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in maintenance or engineering.
• 3+ years of experience leading a team in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Review daily packaging operation for efficiency, product requirements, and schedule.
• Direct daily activities of Packaging Maintenance Supervisors for proper priorities.
• Communicate issues to the Packaging Department Manager and plan improvements.
• Review shutdown maintenance and cleaning schedules to avoid production impact.
• Develop and implement plans to improve substandard performance.
• Plan long-range needs and implement solutions for the department.
• Organize staff into an effective team and conduct timely performance evaluations.
• Lead the transition to accountability with 30/60/90-day plans.
