Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a production supervisor to direct and monitor activities of production personnel in our packaging manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes safety, quality, cost control and meeting customer specifications on a 7-day, 12-hour shift pattern.

Requirements include a high school diploma (AS degree preferred), at least 3 years in manufacturing with 1 year in a supervisory role, and strong knowledge of production machinery.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of manufacturing experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• High level knowledge of machinery and production systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor activities of production personnel and manage resources in manufacturing of packaging solutions.
• Lead by aligning with Guiding Principles and driving safety, quality and efficiency.
• Manage employee performance: interviewing, training, development, promotions, coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Serve as technical process expert in production, planning and budgeting; document progress and results.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.
