Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Production Supervisor based in York, PA. This role oversees hourly staff on a 2/2/3 day schedule, focusing on safety, quality and productivity while managing training, documentation and shift operations.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent operations experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role in manufacturing. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree and/or related operations experience; or equivalent combination of education and related operations experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an operations supervisory or management role in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly employees engaged in manufacturing of blow molded containers.
• Maintain safety, quality, housekeeping and training standards on shift.
• Provide shift leadership, document decisions, and communicate status updates.
• Review time records and manage shift staffing to meet objectives.
• Develop procedures to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
