Job summary

Genpak in Tyler, TX is seeking a Packaging Associate to perform final review of finished products and packaging materials, ensuring readiness for customer delivery. You will visually inspect products, verify labeling and date codes, and palletize as required to meet specification standards.

Role requires basic math, strong safety awareness, and experience in packaging operations; prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products and packaging materials for quality
• Communicate concerns to supervisors and other packaging staff
• Package products according to specifications and label/date code appropriately
• Operate packaging equipment and troubleshoot minor issues
• Assist in scrap management and material restocking
• Adhere to LEAN initiatives and 5S standards
• Stand and walk on cement flooring and lift up to 30 lbs.
