Job summary

Utah Flour Milling dba Greenfield Milling is seeking a Production Operator I in Hereford, TX. The role packages finished products and requires high school education, strict adherence to safety policies, GMP/HACCP and sanitation practices.

You will operate packaging lines, monitor weights, and perform quality checks while collaborating with the QA, maintenance, and scheduling teams to ensure on-time production and smooth workflow.

• Available to work flexible hours including rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and GMP/HACCP/ sanitation guidelines.
• Mill flour to meet customer specifications.
• Operate transferring equipment safely and efficiently.
• Lockout, unstack, repair, and restack sifters.
• Perform sanitation duties and complete work orders.
• Coordinate with scheduler, elevator, blender, QA, maintenance, and packer.
• Assure quality of bins and silos.
• Conduct visual inspections of FPZ transfer sifter.
• Monitor bag weights and packer scales for accuracy.
• Ensure product is bagged, sealed, and palletized properly.
• Take product samples and run lab analyses.
• Perform metal detector checks as scheduled and report issues.
• Feed nonconforming product back into the system for rework.
• Assist in training other personnel.
