Job summary

Utah Flour Milling dba Greenfield Milling is seeking a Production Operator I to handle transferring, loading and packaging of finished flour products. The role requires following safety policies, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation guidelines, with a rotating 7pm–7am shift and two weekends off per week.

You will read customer specs, mill flour to meet those specs, operate transfer equipment, and perform sampling and analysis using lab instruments.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow safety policies, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and BU policies.
• Read customer specs and mill flour to meet specs.
• Operate transferring equipment and systems.
• Sample and analyze milled flour; analyze with lab instruments.
• Set up packer weights and ensure bags meet specifications.
• Pull samples before packaging and during runs for testing.
• Safety training provided; ability to work unsupervised.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, bulk load, and package finished products.
• Operate and monitor transferring equipment and systems.
• Sample and test milled flour; analyze with lab instruments.
• Check packaging weights, seal, and palletize finished products.
• Maintain sanitation of packing and loading areas; support rework processes.
• Interact with scheduler, quality team and maintenance to resolve issues.
• Train new personnel in packaging functions; participate in on-the-job training.
