Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• 1+ years in a lead role in production, manufacturing, or industrial settings preferred.
• Forklift operating skills required.
• On-the-job training provided; safety training offered by the company.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Able to work unsupervised and handle flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage your team and hold them accountable for plant/department goals and productivity metrics.
• Reduce non-productive time by analyzing data and acting accordingly.
• Monitor processes to maximize throughput and achieve plant goals in overtime and labor costs.
• Set a safety example and enforce safety practices daily.
• Communicate safety goals and issues with the team and Production Manager.
• Ensure product quality and that all quality procedures are followed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly area and enforce 'clean as you go'.
• escalated issues with team members when needed and report status to stakeholders.
