Winland Foods, Excelsior Springs, MO is seeking an Entry Packaging Team Member to operate, monitor, and maintain packaging lines with a focus on safety and quality. You will handle packaging equipment, ensure correct labeling, and record data in SAP as part of a collaborative team.

The role features a 12-hour shift schedule (2-2-3 rotation) from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a $23.50/hour base plus $1.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year of manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on packaging line equipment.
• Proficiency with SAP, hand scanners, and basic math; willingness to learn MII/WE systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery including depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, and forklifts.
• Complete equipment changeovers and address issues quickly to keep lines running.
• Inspect labeling, packaging, and palletizing; manage materials in SAP.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and safety policies; maintain sanitation.
• Collaborate with team, lead line huddles, and participate in 5S improvements.
• Document production records and inventory transactions in SAP.
