Job summary

Winland Foods is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator in Lee's Summit, MO to safely operate packaging lines, monitor quality, and ensure products are packed accurately for distribution. The role offers a 2-2-3 schedule, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, with pay around $22.50/hour plus bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include equipment setup/changeovers, labeling checks, FIFO inventory, and SAP data entry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level)

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, forklifts).
• Complete equipment changeovers and address issues quickly.
• Inspect products for correct labeling, alignment and packaging.
• Follow FIFO inventory methods and record shipments in SAP.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA and food safety policies.
• Assist team members and lead projects at higher levels.
