Job summary

We Pack Logistics in Maxton, NC is seeking a hands-on Packaging Manager to lead the contract packaging and repack operations. You will prioritize safety, quality, continuous improvement, and labor cost management while steering the function to meet production targets.

The role oversees labor, machine performance, and material movements, collaborating with warehousing to deliver a seamless service for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years related experience.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Proven leadership capable of engaging with all team members.

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily execution of packaging work at locations of responsibility to ensure the highest level of customer service
• Ensures the packaging function executes work efficiently and profitabily while partnering closely together to meet all customer needs
• Oversees the planning function and personnel for the packaging operation
• Supports Production Supervisor in appropriately managing staffing levels by working with internal and external staffing partners to ensure customer and operational timeline commitments are met while hitting financial targets
• Effective collaborates and partner with the warehousing side of the operation to guarantee a seamless, single service for the customer
