Job summary

Harrison, Walker & Harper in Maxton, NC seeks a Packaging Manager to lead the contract packaging and repack operations with a emphasis on safety, quality and labor cost control. You will oversee labor, equipment performance, and material movements to meet production targets and customer specifications.

The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on delivering seamless service and effective cross‑functional collaboration with warehousing and staffing partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years related experience.
• Strong communicator written and orally.
• Strong leadership skills who can engage with all team members positively.

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily execution of packaging work at locations of responsibility to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Ensures the packaging function executes work efficiently and profitabily while partnering closely together to meet all customer needs.
• Oversees the planning function and personnel for the packaging operation.
• Supports Production Supervisor in appropriately managing staffing levels by working with internal and external staffing partners to ensure customer and operational timeline commitments are met while hitting financial targets.
• Effective collaborates and partner with the warehousing side of the operation to guarantee a seamless, single service for the customer.
