Actalent designs vertical twin-tube baggers and related capital equipment from concept through detailed design, validation, and launch using SolidWorks and sound mechanical engineering principles. The team collaborates with engineers and shop-floor personnel to create manufacturable designs and maintain design documentation.

Candidates should have at least five years of SolidWorks and mechanical or machine design experience, or three years for exceptional candidates; experience with packaging

Qualifications

• At least five years of SolidWorks and mechanical or machine design experience.
• Three years for exceptional candidates.
• Experience designing complex equipment is required.
• Experience with packaging machinery, PDM, and project coordination is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design vertical twin-tube baggers and related equipment from concept through validation and launch.
• Collaborate with engineers and shop-floor personnel to create manufacturable designs and maintain design documentation.
• Support manufacturing and assembly by providing engineering guidance and resolving design issues.
