Actalent designs vertical twin-tube baggers and related capital equipment from concept through detailed design, validation, and launch using SolidWorks and sound mechanical engineering principles. The team collaborates with engineers and shop-floor personnel to create manufacturable designs and maintain design documentation.

Candidates should have at least five years of SolidWorks and mechanical or machine design experience, or three years for exceptional candidates; experience with packaging

• Three years for exceptional candidates.
• Experience designing complex equipment is required.
• Experience with packaging machinery, PDM, and project coordination is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Design vertical twin-tube baggers and related capital equipment from concept through detailed design, validation, and launch, using SolidWorks and sound mechanical engineering principles. Collaborate with engineers and shop-floor personnel to create manufacturable designs, manage design documentation, and support manufacturing and assembly.

Requirements:

Candidates need at least five years of SolidWorks and mechanical or machine design experience, or at least three years for exceptional candidates, along with proven experience designing complex equipment. Strong skills in designing machined and fabricated components and designing for manufacturing are required; a mechanical engineering degree is preferred, and experience with packaging machinery, PDM, and project coordination is advantageous.
