Job summary

Maker's Pride in Illinois is seeking a Machine Operator to run packaging equipment, perform set-ups and minor adjustments, and ensure product quality per customer specs.

You will work under GMP guidelines, handle changeovers, document results, and maintain a clean, safe work area while eligible for comprehensive benefits and a wage starting at $21.45 per hour, with opportunities for higher pay and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Familiarity with GMPs and HACCP or willingness to learn.
• Sufficient math skills to calculate material quantities for orders.
• Good organizational and communication skills to prioritize work and relay changes.
• Ability to read and write in English (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate set ups on equipment for product runs.
• Operates and adjusts equipment to meet quality specs.
• Inspects, tests packages and documents results.
• Stages materials for quick changeovers in production.
• Completes and files all required documentation.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
