You will set up, run, and change over machines, complete logs and line staffing sheets, perform quality checks, and follow the daily production schedule while reporting results.

The position offers a Monday–Saturday schedule with a starting wage of $22.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers and mechanics.

• Proficiency with hand tools and an understanding of high-speed machinery.

Responsibilities

• Program machines using keyboard and terminal to set size, weight, codes and dates for each bag produced.
• Verify machine setup and ensure proper function after sanitation and with scales.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Report hourly production updates and record logs (dump logs, downtime logs, etc.).
• Perform product quality checks: weight, seal integrity, oxygen testing (where applicable).
• Complete all required paperwork and line staffing sheets.
