Job summary

Maker’s Pride in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and run packaging lines, adjust equipment, and verify product quality per customer specs. The role requires GMP awareness, counting and math skills, and strong attention to safety. Overtime and weekend work are possible in a manufacturing environment.

Starting pay ranges by shift: $17.00 with $1/$1.50 differentials on 2nd/3rd shifts; full benefits include health, dental, 401k and wellness options beginning after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills to calculate quantities for orders.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with line workers.
• Ability to understand and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Reading and writing in English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate set ups on equipment for product runs.
• Operates equipment and makes adjustments to ensure quality.
• Inspects and tests packages and documents results.
• Preps materials for changeovers and ensures cleanliness and organization.
