Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a Machine Operator to perform set-ups, adjust and run packaging equipment while ensuring product quality per customer requirements. The role requires GMP compliance and the ability to change over equipment efficiently.

This position operates on first or second shifts with potential overtime on weekends. Candidates should be reliable, team-oriented, and able to read and follow safety policies. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP or willingness to learn.
• Sufficient math skills to calculate quantities for orders.
• Good organizational and communication skills to prioritize work and communicate changes.
• Ability to handle small tools.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
• English reading/writing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate set ups on equipment for product runs.
• Operates equipment and adjusts to meet quality specs.
• Inspects packages and documents results for quality control.
• Stages and checks materials for quick changeovers in production.
• Completes and maintains required documentation.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
