Job summary

Maker's Pride in Ohio is seeking a Machine Operator to perform set-ups, operate packaging equipment, and ensure product quality per customer requirements.

You will wash and change over equipment, document results, and maintain GMP/HACCP practices in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Overtime and weekend shifts are possible. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, are 18+, and can read and write English; comfort with small hand tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• GMPs knowledge or willing to learn.
• HACCP program knowledge or willingness to learn.
• Sufficient math skills to calculate material quantities.
• Ability to read and write in English (preferred).
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to handle small hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment for product runs and adjust as needed.
• Operate packaging equipment and ensure it meets quality specs.
• Inspect packages and document results.
• Stage and verify materials for efficient changeovers.
• Complete required documentation and maintain area cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
