Job summary

Maker's Pride in Michigan City, IN is seeking a Machine Operator to perform set-ups, run packaging lines, and adjust equipment to meet customer quality requirements. You will follow GMPs, document results, and work with a team to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires 18+ years old, basic math, ability to stand most of the shift, lift up to 40 pounds, and willingness to work overtime including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP or willing to learn.
• Sufficient math skills to calculate quantities for orders.
• Good organizational and communication skills to coordinate with line workers.
• Ability to read and write in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate set ups on equipment for product runs.
• Operates equipment and adjusts to meet quality specifications.
• Inspects and tests packages; documents results for quality control.
• Stages and checks materials for quick changeovers in production.
• Completes and compiles all required documentation.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
