Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Indiana to set up and operate packaging equipment, ensuring product quality and GMP-compliant processes. The role involves changeovers, documentation, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

The candidate should be 18+, possess GMP/HACCP knowledge or willingness to learn, and have basic math and communication skills. Overtime and weekends may be required, with a competitive wage and benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP or willingness to learn.
• Sufficient math skills to calculate quantities of material for orders.
• Good organizational and communication skills to prioritize work and communicate changes.
• Ability to handle small tools.
• Ability to read and write in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate set ups on equipment for product runs.
• Operates equipment and adjusts to ensure correct operation and quality specs.
• Inspects and tests packages and documents results to ensure quality.
• Stages and checks materials for quick and accurate change overs in production.
• Completes and assembles all required documentation for the position.
• Maintains the work area in a clean and organized manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
