Job summary

Downeast Cider House, LLC is seeking a Packaging Line Operator in East Boston, MA. This full-time role runs 7am–3pm or 3pm–11pm and starts at $20/hr with additional pay for prior experience. You will master canning and kegging, keeping quality high and pace fast in our shipyard setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old per alcohol regulations.
• Able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Available for two primary shifts (7am–3pm or 3pm–11pm).
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and hardworking.
• Prior experience in food, beverage or high-speed manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art canning and kegging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to keep the line running at peak performance.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Own the data.
• Enter packaging data through web-based forms and spreadsheets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace on the shipyard.
• Operate forklifts to stage raw materials and move finished pallets.
